About Ioana

Ioana Mandru is a partner whose practice covers real estate law, corporate and commercial matters, and wills and estates. She joined the firm in 2020 after several years at a Kitchener firm. Her real estate work spans residential and commercial purchases, sales, and refinances, while her corporate practice includes incorporations, share and asset purchases and sales, and agreement drafting. She also prepares wills and powers of attorney and advises estate trustees on administration. Ioana holds a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario (2013) and a B.A. from Queen's University, and she was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014. Born in Bucharest, Romania, she is fluent in Romanian and serves on the board of the Hummingbird Centre for Hope.
