About Parvin
Parvin Thakor defends clients facing criminal charges across Toronto and the GTA, including assault, impaired driving and firearm-related offences, reviewing disclosure and evidence to build a tailored defence strategy for each case. During law school she worked at a criminal defence firm in Ottawa, attending the Ontario Court of Justice and drafting Charter applications, and she later articled between Ottawa and Toronto, appearing before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and a political science and criminology degree with high distinction from the University of Toronto, where she also completed independent research on the criminal justice system. Thakor is recognized by Legal Aid Ontario and is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Gujarati.
