About Jeffery
Jeffery Berman is a criminal defence lawyer in Ontario and a member of the Law Society of Ontario. He has focused exclusively on criminal law since being called to the Bar in 2006, representing people facing serious charges across the province. He has tried cases across every level of Ontario's court system, including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal. His casework spans murder and other serious violent offences, criminal organization and conspiracy allegations, domestic assault, drug trafficking and firearms charges, and impaired driving matters. He is also associated with Legal Aid Ontario for Gladue-related matters, Consent and Capacity Board proceedings, and Ontario Review Board hearings. His law degree, earned in 2005, comes from Osgoode Hall Law School, and he also holds an honours degree in Commerce.
