About David
David A. Goodman is a criminal defence lawyer and member of the Law Society of Ontario who has represented people facing criminal charges since his call to the bar in 2006. Based in Toronto, he focuses on helping clients understand the court process, assess the evidence against them, and build a clear defence strategy. He earned his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005 and articled at a criminal law firm. David has appeared at every level of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal, on matters ranging from theft and driving offences such as impaired and dangerous driving to assault, domestic assault and serious indictable charges including murder. He has also spoken at high school forums and served as a guest speaker at the Superior Court of Justice, discussing the legal profession and the justice system with students.
