About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Neiman has represented people facing criminal charges across Ontario since 1987, with a practice that also touches on family law matters. He earned a B.A. in English from the University of Toronto in 1982 and completed his LL.B. at the University of British Columbia in 1985, and has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal. His caseload includes impaired driving and other driving offences, domestic assault and violent allegations, bail hearings and a wide range of Criminal Code charges. Neiman is an authorized Legal Aid Ontario lawyer and dedicated over 25 years to service as a staff lawyer at the Dixon Hall Community Centre, located in downtown Toronto, assisting vulnerable community members with legal matters. He now practices with Charitsis Law and has spoken to high school students across Toronto and York Region about the legal system. He is fluent in English and French and can communicate in basic Russian and German.
