About Omid
Omid Raoufian is a family lawyer at YLaw's Vancouver office, having previously articled with the firm. Before law school he was a Para-Alpine ski racer representing Canada, winning a silver medal at the 2015 Canada Winter Games, and he later completed a Child and Youth Care Counselling degree at Mount Royal University, volunteering with the Calgary Distress Centre and Canadian Suicide Prevention Service. He moved to Kamloops in 2021 to attend Thompson Rivers University, where he earned his Juris Doctor and worked as a student clinician at the TRU Community Legal Clinic. He holds a Bachelor of Child Studies from Mount Royal University (2021) and a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University (2024), and was awarded the BC Law Foundation Entrance Scholarship.
