About Niki
Niki Bains is counsel at Metallic Law, working on litigation, governance, and specific claims for First Nations. She completed her law degree at the University of Victoria and her undergraduate degree in political science at the University of Alberta, and was called to the bar in 2019. She has served as a judicial law clerk at the Provincial Court of Alberta and as counsel for the BC Civil Liberties Association, is a Sessional Instructor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law teaching Critical Perspectives on Race and the Law, and sits on the board of Justice & Equity Alberta.
