Administrative & Regulatory LawJim Ratis is counsel at Metallic Law, supporting First Nation governments, businesses, organizations, and individuals across governance, economic development, tax planning, and employment advisory work, as well as litigation involving Aboriginal and treaty rights, First Nations governance, specific claims, administrative law, and commercial disputes. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the Federal Court, and all levels of court in Alberta. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in political science and criminology, earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2017.
