About Nigel

Nigel Beckmann is a Partner at DWF Canada in Vancouver. Called to the British Columbia Bar in 2000, the Yukon Bar in 2014 and the Alberta Bar in 2019, he holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia, a B.A. from Queen's University and a diploma in Asia Pacific Business Management from Capilano College. He joined the firm in 2000 and practices general insurance litigation, primarily personal injury defence, leading the Defamation and Abuse Litigation groups. Before law, he spent four years in Japan working for BC's Council of Forest Industries.
