Josh Woods was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and moved to British Columbia in 2004. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria before attending the University of British Columbia for law school, during which he clerked for the Provincial Court of British Columbia. He articled and practiced at a large litigation firm in Surrey, BC, before co-founding Clark Woods LLP, and has had trial success at all levels of court in BC, including the Court of Appeal, most recently as lead counsel in Rabbani-Nejad v. Sharma, one of the first BC cases dealing with ICBC's minor injury caps scheme. His practice now focuses on significant personal injury claims, estate litigation, and real estate litigation.
