About Nicholas

Nicholas Buttler Speers is a litigation associate in the Nanaimo office who assists businesses and individuals with employment contracts, human rights claims, commercial contract disputes, construction issues, and judgment enforcement. He has appeared before both the BC Provincial Court and BC Supreme Court, and emphasizes pragmatic, cost-effective solutions. He graduated from the Juris Doctor program at the University of Alberta, where he volunteered with Student Legal Services on its criminal law project, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with distinction from the University of British Columbia. He completed his articles with a full-service Fraser Valley firm before being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2025.
