About Geoffrey
Geoffrey Boddy is a commercial litigator who joined Heath Law LLP after moving from Calgary, where he was a partner at the litigation firm JSS Barristers. He graduated from the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law in 2009, after earning a BSc (Honours) and an MSc in neuroscience from the University of Alberta. He is licensed to practise in both Alberta and British Columbia, and has appeared as lead counsel before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, all levels of court in Alberta, the Federal Courts, and several administrative boards and commissions. His litigation practice covers breach of contract claims, corporate and commercial disputes, land and construction disputes, builders' liens, commercial real estate disputes, insurance claim disputes, wrongful dismissal, and wills and estates disputes. He has received the Client Champion Silver designation from Martindale-Hubbell and Lawyers.com since 2019, and was recognized as a litigation star by Benchmark Litigation in 2022.
