About Neil

Neil Wilson is a partner at Whelton Hiutin LLP focused on civil and commercial litigation, personal injury, and administrative law. His files include corporate, real estate, and employment disputes, and he also represents people who have suffered serious injuries. He has argued matters at every level of court in Ontario and has run trials, appeals, and motions such as injunctions and summary judgment applications, often serving as lead counsel on major appeals. Neil writes and speaks frequently on civil litigation and access to justice, with articles appearing in the Advocates' Journal, the Toronto Star, and the Supreme Court Law Review that have been cited by courts across Canada. He studied at Osgoode Hall Law School, taking part in the intensive program at Parkdale Community Legal Services, and holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto. He joined the firm in 2011 following a clerkship at the Federal Court with Justice Russel W. Zinn.
