About Ed

Ed Hiutin is a partner who practices civil litigation, with his primary focus on commercial disputes and dispute resolution. He pays particular attention to real estate, development and construction matters, corporate and partnership disputes, oppression remedy claims, and employment litigation. He regularly advises entrepreneurs and corporate principals on managing legal risk, recommending litigation or negotiation strategies suited to each client's circumstances. Ed earned a B.A. at Huron College, part of the University of Western Ontario, then completed his LL.B. at the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 2002, and was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2003. He belongs to the Ontario and Canadian Bar Associations, the Advocates' Society, the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Peel Law Association, and he speaks Russian fluently.
