About Haya

Haya Sardar joined Whelton Hiutin LLP as an associate in 2024 following her articles with the firm. Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with a particular interest in appellate advocacy. Haya earned her JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2023, where she competed on the university's Wilson Moot team and received the second-place factum award. During law school she also volunteered with the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic and Pro Bono Ontario. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2024.
