About Daniela

Daniela Ruiz is an internationally trained lawyer, originally from Santiago, Chile, who moved to Canada in 2015. She earned her LL.B. from the University of Chile in 2010 and taught commercial and municipal law there before completing further coursework at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC and the CPLED bar admission program. She joined Shim Law in 2022 and now assists clients with family law, civil litigation, employment, and wills and estates matters, and volunteers with the Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council.
