Administrative & Regulatory LawKerry Lynn Okita is a partner in Bishop & McKenzie's Calgary office, honoured with a King's Counsel designation in 2024. Her practice covers litigation, employment law, estate litigation, and real property disputes, including workplace human rights issues such as sexual harassment, assault, and discrimination. She took a leave from practice in 2010 to work on constitutional challenges with a human rights organization in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and later worked as a legal officer with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan in Kabul. Kerry Lynn holds a BA from the University of Victoria and an LLB from the University of British Columbia, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2007. She sits on the boards of the National Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) and the Folk Festival of Calgary, and was named one of Avenue Magazine's Calgary Top 40 Under 40 in 2018.
