About Mylène
Mylène Lafrenière Abel has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since January 2018. She holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the Université de Montréal, along with a law degree (LL.B.) and a master of laws (LL.M.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal, where she received several awards including the Natacha Binsse-Masse prize recognizing social engagement in rights advocacy. She articled at the Tribunal des droits de la personne, then worked as a research lawyer at the Superior Court of Quebec. She also worked with a professional artists' association, where she developed an interest in labour law. She joined RBD Avocats in April 2021 as coordinator of legal information.
