About Amélie

Amélie Soulez holds a law degree from the Université de Montréal and also studied abroad at the China University of Political Science and Law. She was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2016, and after beginning her career in criminal law, joined RBD Avocats in September 2016 to build a practice in labour law. She became partner in January 2024. Soulez practises in employment and labour law, occupational health and safety, and disciplinary and professional law, and also handles access-to-information and privacy matters. She represents members of the Fédération des policiers et policières du Québec and the Fédération des employés du préhospitalier du Québec, among other worker associations, in negotiations and before administrative and civil tribunals. She has spoken and trained for several organizations including the FPMQ, the FTQ, the Barreau du Québec and the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, and is a member of the Association du jeune barreau de Montréal and the Association des avocats et avocates représentant les bénéficiaires des régimes d'indemnisation publics.
