About Ariane

Ariane Bergeron St-Onge began her practice in labour law before moving into criminal law, training under recognized criminal-defence mentors and arguing before Quebec's Superior Court and Court of Appeal. She has worked on several high-profile matters and focuses her practice on defending individuals and organizations before the courts, and has contributed to several publications. She joined RBD in 2016 and became partner in February 2019, practising primarily in criminal law and police ethics. She holds degrees from the Université de Montréal and the Université de Louvain in Belgium, and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in March 2011. She is a member of the Association des avocats de la défense de Montréal, which awarded her its 2021 Gabriel-Lapointe prize recognizing legal and social achievement by a lawyer with ten years of practice.
