William Burke's practice centers on fund formation and private fund transactions across asset classes that include private debt, real estate, infrastructure, and private equity. Burke works with institutional clients such as pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and funds-of-funds, along with fund managers, on primary and secondary investments, co-investment opportunities, and direct investment deals. Burke's transactional background includes work as in-house counsel with a global private markets firm, which has given him insight into how clients think about their legal needs. Before joining the firm, Burke held a senior legal counsel role at StepStone Group LP.
