About Miranda
Miranda Lacalamita is an associate at Rogers Partners LLP whose work centers on civil litigation, particularly insurance defence. She articled at the firm after graduating from Queen's University Faculty of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of Business and Marketing for the Queen's Law Journal, volunteered as a caseworker at the Queen's Family Law Clinic, and co-chaired the student charity initiative Lawlapalooza. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2025. Before law school she earned an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Studies from the University of Guelph, graduating with distinction, and holds a diploma in Media Communications from Humber College. Her earlier work included a digital marketing internship at Universal Music Canada, and she draws on that communications background in advocating for clients today.
