About Aliyyah

Aliyyah is an associate in the firm's insurance defence practice, representing insurers and defendants across a wide range of civil litigation matters. She articled at the firm, building on legal experience she gained earlier in Trinidad and Tobago on both plaintiff and defence-side files, which gives her a balanced view of litigation strategy and risk. She is known for clear communication and a collaborative approach, working closely with clients to understand their goals. Aliyyah also has working knowledge of American Sign Language and conversational Spanish. She holds an LL.B. from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School, and was called to the bar in Trinidad and Tobago in 2018 and in Ontario in 2026.
