About Mike
Mike Murphy has been a litigation lawyer with Murphy Battista LLP since 2013, litigating complex liability issues and claims involving brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, soft tissue injuries, broken bones, psychological injuries and chronic pain. His practice covers trip and slip-and-fall claims, commercial host liability, assault and sexual assault claims, MCFD negligence claims, abuse and mistreatment claims, medical malpractice, wrongful death, insurance denial, and car accidents. He volunteers at the G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre and with the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, and dedicates part of his practice to free summary advice and free legal services for vulnerable clients. Mike earned his JD from Bond University in 2012 and a Bachelor of Management from Dalhousie University in 2005, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2013.
