About Bill
Bill Dick is a partner at Murphy Battista LLP who has practiced litigation with the firm since 2014, with extensive experience representing plaintiffs in serious, complex personal injury claims including medical malpractice and insurance disputes, at trial and on appeal. He also handles complex commercial litigation and construction law disputes, represents plaintiffs in class action lawsuits, and advocates for clients in mediation and arbitration. Bill was appointed Queen's Counsel in December 2018 (now King's Counsel). He takes a holistic approach to his clients' needs, ensuring they understand the full range of resources available to support an optimal recovery plan while securing fair compensation for both immediate and long-term needs. Bill earned his LLB from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 1992 and a BA from the University of Victoria in 1989, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 1993. He is a past president of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
