About Angela

Angela Bespflug is a litigation lawyer at Murphy Battista LLP who has specialized in class actions since 2020. She has worked on several high-profile cases, including class actions with combined settlement values totalling more than $1.2 billion, and has been recognized by the Federal Court as a leading practitioner in class actions. Her work focuses on veterans' rights, sexual misconduct, Indigenous rights, commercial wrongs, pension calculation errors and privacy breaches. Angela earned her LLB/JD from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 2007 and a BFA from Simon Fraser University in 2002, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2008. She is also an author on class actions and a regular conference presenter.
