About Michelle

Michelle Bradley's work encompasses drafting and implementing laws and policies, governance matters, specific claims, consultation and accommodation with industry and government, negotiation, and litigation, advising clients on Crown consultation duties, fiduciary obligations, Aboriginal and treaty rights protection, and Aboriginal title matters. Before joining Woodward & Company in 2020, she practiced at another Aboriginal law firm for eight years, clerked at the Land and Environment Court of New South Wales, and served as editor for the Australian Indigenous Law Review, and has appeared across multiple court levels and administrative tribunals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in international development and English, with distinction, from McGill University, and a law degree from the University of New South Wales, graduating with honours. She was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2013, the Yukon in 2020, and the Northwest Territories in 2022, and has been recognized by Lexpert as a lawyer to watch in Aboriginal law.
