About Michael
Michael Sutherland is one of MJB's most experienced civil litigators, practising primarily in personal injury and motor vehicle claims, medical malpractice claims, wrongful dismissal and employment law, estate litigation and will variation, sexual assault claims, insurance denials and breach claims, and contract law. He was called to the bar after graduating from the University of Victoria in 1992 with a BA and from the University of Saskatchewan Law School with a Juris Doctor, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1999. He joined MJB Lawyers in 2000 and became a partner in 2004. He has appeared in the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the BC Supreme Court, and the BC Court of Appeal, and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
