About Darren

Darren Paulsen has close to 30 years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation, including estate litigation, contract and employment disputes, personal injury claims (motor vehicle accident and occupier's liability), insurance disputes, and administrative law matters. He has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and the Federal Court of Canada, including trials before judges and juries, and before tribunals under the Residential Tenancy Act, the Labour Relations Act and the Workers Compensation Act. Darren completed his law degree at the University of Victoria in 1996 and was called to the bar in 1998 after articling with Mair Jensen Blair. He became a partner in 2003 and a managing partner in 2004. He is an active member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
