About Barry
Barry Carter has practised law in British Columbia since 1978, and in partnership at Mair Jensen Blair LLP since 1979. He holds degrees in Arts, Science and Law all from the University of Ottawa. He has spent his career as a trial lawyer representing individual, institutional, and corporate clients in a wide variety of civil disputes, including complex, lengthy and precedent-setting litigation in all levels of court, arbitration and mediation. Notable matters include administrative law cases involving the RCMP Commissioner and the Veterans Review and Appeal Board. He relocated his practice from Kamloops to Vancouver in 2006, where he opened MJB's Vancouver office and continues to service a broad client base throughout British Columbia.
