About Gillian

Gillian Canniff has practised in family law, wrongful dismissal, personal injury and insurance defence. She worked in-house with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, gaining experience and resources that inform her understanding of clients' needs. Her priorities are clear communication and building a trusting relationship to resolve claims. Gillian completed her BA in 1992 at the University of Calgary, a Paralegal Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1995, and worked for several years as a paralegal in Calgary before earning her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2001. She articled and worked in the Lower Mainland for 10 years before relocating to the Okanagan in 2011, and has been an instructor with the Vancouver Community College Paralegal Program.
