About Michael

Michael Stanton is a civil and commercial litigator whose practice includes employment law, construction law, and debt recovery. He aims for practical resolutions, often working with opposing counsel to settle matters before trial while still preparing thoroughly for court when needed. Michael earned his BA with honours from McMaster University in 2003 and his LLB from the University of Ottawa in 2006, and he was called to the bar in 2007. He is active with the Hamilton Law Association, including its Bench and Bar and Commercial Litigation subcommittees.
