About Michael

Michael Sabusco is a partner at Sotos LLP practising corporate and securities law, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. He has substantial experience with private and public offerings, including initial public offerings, strategic financings, takeovers, reverse takeovers, and broader corporate restructurings. Michael advises public and private corporations and strategic investors on stock exchange listings, securities regulatory compliance, continuous disclosure obligations, and corporate governance, working across industries such as mining, technology, cannabis, financial services, and real estate. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2003 after earning his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BA from York University. Michael describes himself as a collaborative team player who aims to give boards, executives, and owner-operators proactive, pragmatic advice aligned with their business goals.
