About Liane
As an associate at Torys, Liane Ali-Hassan handles mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets work within a broader corporate law practice. Her recent work includes advising a syndicate of agents on Bruce Power L.P.'s C$950 million private placement of senior unsecured notes and representing Greenbrook TMS in its all-stock merger with Neuronetics. She earned a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and a Master of Health Administration in 2024, along with a Bachelor of Business Management from Dalhousie in 2020, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2025.
