Michael P. Taylor was called to the bar in 1984 and has practised insurance law exclusively ever since, covering property and casualty matters. He made partner at Lyons, Goodman before joining Iacono Brown, then left in 1997 to help form ZTGH. His work today includes accident benefits, tort motor vehicle claims, general liability and property matters, and he appears regularly before Ontario courts, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. In recent years his practice has grown to include mediation. He has written and lectured on insurance topics such as environmental claims, and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada since 2015 and as a Lexpert Ranked Lawyer.
