Civil Litigation & Dispute ResolutionMichael Ng is a partner at Ng Ariss Fong known for clear, precise legal writing across trials and appeals. He holds a B.Comm. and an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia and an LL.M. from Queen's University. Michael has worked on Aboriginal law matters including Gitxaala Nation v. The Queen, which invalidated the federal approval of the Northern Gateway pipeline, and has written intervenor factums on Indigenous sacred lands and constitutional questions for the Supreme Court of Canada. He has drafted arguments for hundreds of complex commercial disputes and continues to ghostwrite court submissions for other litigators, including cases on builders liens, agent commissions, and professional discipline. Michael recently updated the Judicial Review Fundamentals chapter of the CLEBC Administrative Law Practice Manual and practises through Michael Ng (2024) Law Corporation.
