About Amanda
Amanda Nurse is an associate at Ng Ariss Fong. She began her career in the natural sciences, earning a BSc with distinction in Biology from Western University, and then worked with an environmental research organization producing reports on wildlife and contaminant health in freshwater systems. That work exposed her to environmental injustices affecting communities and individuals, which drew her toward law. Amanda pursued her JD at Queen's University, focusing on environmental, Aboriginal, and Indigenous law, and continued researching climate change and environmental justice while also doing pro bono work supporting Indigenous youth access to welfare resources.
