About Michael
Michael Korman is the founding partner at Korman & Korman LLP and has practised immigration and refugee law in Canada for over 30 years. His focus is on refugee claims before the Refugee Protection Division and appeals of immigration officers' decisions to the Immigration Appeal Division, and he appears regularly before the Federal Court of Canada on judicial review applications. Several of his appeal cases have been cited in Canadian law journals, including the Immigration Law Reporter. He has lectured on Canadian immigration law at the college level and written articles on key issues in the field.
