About Michael
Michael Dunleavy joined the firm in July 2000 after seven years practicing at two national law firms in Toronto. His clients range from startups to established public companies, and he has represented purchasers and vendors in mergers and acquisitions, issuers and underwriters in public offerings, and companies and investors in private equity financings. He also has an extensive background in technology contracting, drafting and negotiating licensing, development and distribution agreements and technology services outsourcing deals. Mike works with technology companies across sectors including e-business, SaaS, semiconductors, medical devices, online gaming and business analytics, as well as with angel and institutional investors. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Toronto and was called to the Ontario bar in 1995.
