About Peter

Peter's practice is focused on tax litigation, with particular emphasis on transfer pricing matters, international tax issues and tax structuring disputes. He acted as counsel in the Cameco Corporation matter, which stands as the largest transfer-pricing dispute resolved by the Tax Court of Canada and was later heard by the Federal Court of Appeal. Peter has also appeared before the Federal Court, as well as the Federal Court of Appeal, regarding the Canada Revenue Agency's authority to compel taxpayers to sit for oral interviews in the course of an audit. His experience includes representing clients through tax audits and objections, and advising on audit and litigation strategy, competent authority applications and collections matters. Peter earned an LL.B. from the University of Toronto and a B.B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University, and he is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
