About Michael
Michael Dery is a Partner and leads the firm's Aviation Practice group. He previously served a decade on the firm's Executive Team, from 2011 through 2021, and edits the firm's Aviation Law Blog. His work centers on aviation law, and he acts for flight schools, fixed base operators, aviation insurers, UAV operators, aircraft owners, airlines, and maintenance organizations approved for aviation work, handling complex litigation and regulatory matters. Outside the office, Michael is a keen skier who tries to get to Whistler whenever he can, and he also enjoys running, basketball, boxing, sailing, wakeboarding, traveling, and mountain biking.
