About Timothy
Timothy Murphy was called to the bar in Alberta in 2007, in England and Wales in 2008, and in British Columbia in 2011. He holds an LLB from the University of Saskatchewan and an LLM from McGill University, and began his career at a national Calgary firm before practising internationally with a UK firm and serving as in-house counsel for a multinational software company headquartered in Paris. He now advises on business law, intellectual property, technology, mergers and acquisitions, financings, and corporate governance, and is active as an arbitrator and mediator with the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre.
