Melissa Prado is a partner in the firm's Toronto office and co-leads the Insurance and Reinsurance practice within the Regulatory Services Group. With over a decade of experience, she advises domestic and international insurers, reinsurers, financial institutions, and intermediaries on formations and licensing, acquisitions and divestitures, reinsurance arrangements, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. She has developed working relationships with federal, provincial, and territorial insurance regulators and industry organizations across Canada.
