About Viktoria

Viktoria Anteby is an associate at Powell Barrister Professional Corporation, called to the bar in 2008 and joining the firm in 2019. She earned a BA in Economics from York University in 2003 and an LLB from the University of Calgary in 2007. Before joining Powell Barrister, she practiced insurance defence litigation, representing major insurers in tort and accident benefits matters, including priority and loss transfer disputes between insurers, and has appeared before the Superior Court of Ontario, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. Her practice now focuses on professional liability defence, and she also acts as independent legal counsel to the Real Estate Council of Ontario's Discipline Committee. She is called to the bar in both Ontario and Alberta.
