About Melissa
Melissa MacDonald is an associate in Osler's Disputes group, maintaining a general civil and commercial litigation practice. She received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she represented the school in the Tort Law Moot Competition and spent an exchange semester at the University of Edinburgh. Before law school, Melissa MacDonald completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Queen's University and a Master of Arts in Economics at McGill University. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2022 and 2023 and served as a judicial law clerk at the Federal Court of Appeal from 2024 to 2025. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario's hotline.
