About Edmund

Edmund Nilson is an associate at Rogers Partners LLP with a broad civil litigation practice covering construction law, medical malpractice, insurance defence, commercial disputes, appellate work, and labour and employment matters. Before joining the firm he articled at a national firm, supporting counsel across multiple litigation areas. During law school, Edmund competed in the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot, where his team earned recognition as best overall team along with top respondent honors, including best respondent factum. He also served as an Associate Editor of the University of Toronto Law Review and contributed to research through the Future of Law Lab. Edmund earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, winning the Alexander C. Pathy Q.C. Prize in Labour Relations Law, and holds an Honours degree in History with International Relations from UBC, where he made the Dean's List each year. He is proficient in French and was called to the Ontario bar in 2025.
