About Joseph
Joseph Wall is counsel in McInnes Cooper's Sydney office, with a practice focused on insurance defence litigation and other civil litigation matters. He has represented insurance companies, government entities, large corporations and other clients in motor vehicle, commercial and fire insurance defence and negligence claims, and represents individuals in personal injury litigation. Joe also handles property law matters, including Land Registration Act transactions, purchases and sales, and refinancing, and appears regularly in the Nova Scotia Supreme Court representing the Minister of Health and Wellness in Adult Protection matters. He previously sat on the Regional Assessment Appeal Court, hearing property assessment appeals on behalf of the province. Joe holds an LL.B. from Dalhousie University and a B.A. from Saint Mary's University, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1996. He serves the Cape Breton community through the United Way board and as a board member and past president of the Island Community Justice Society.
