About Maxwell

Maxwell Gill is an associate lawyer in Ottawa with a general civil and commercial litigation practice and a particular interest in the intersection of law and technology. Early in his career he has already appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, and the American Veterans Board of Appeals. During law school he assisted a Small Claims Court judge and two District Court judges with their duties, and helped veterans file benefit appeals through the University of Detroit Mercy's Veterans Legal Clinic, appearing before the Board of Veterans' Appeals and later representing his school at the National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition. He was also selected to represent the University of Windsor at the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. He holds an Honours B.A. in International Relations from Western University and J.D.s from both the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, and was called to the bar in 2024.
