About Maxime

Nasr is a partner at the firm who has developed particular expertise in class actions over more than 25 years of practice. An experienced litigator, he has been involved in many of the most influential and frequently cited class action cases in Quebec and Canada, and has been repeatedly recognized by Chambers and Partners Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, Benchmark Canada, and Best Lawyers in Canada. He has led class actions on behalf of plaintiffs in consumer, competition, and securities matters, has argued close to 300 decisions, and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada and frequently before the Quebec Court of Appeal and Superior Court. He is a member of the Barreau du Québec's Class Actions Expert Group and leads the firm's class actions team, also representing companies and individuals in complex civil and commercial litigation.
