About Isabelle

Isabelle Casavant is a partner focusing on civil litigation, particularly insurance, civil liability and product liability. She has represented several insurance companies and their insureds, and for over a decade has managed the pyrrhotite file for a major insurer, representing the group of contractors and form setters before the Superior Court and Quebec Court of Appeal. She has also managed the St-Marthe-sur-le-Lac dike-breach case since 2019, representing individuals and insurers seeking compensation. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers directory for insurance since 2023 and co-authored a 2021 article with Michèle Bédard on Wellington-type applications. Before joining the firm in 2007, she worked at a large Montreal firm for more than seven years. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the Université de Montréal, obtained before entering law.
